The coronavirus is disrupting education across Pakistan. School students are at home and teachers are trying to support them as best they can, to minimise the disruption to their education. This website contains over 15,000 resources that will help you to help school age children learn. The links to resources are aligned with the national curriculum of Pakistan, organised by year, subject and topic, making it easy for you to find the resources that you need each day.
Using the Site
If you are a teacher, you can use the resource links to create lessons that students can complete at home, for example by creating a daily message to your class that contains instructions on links they should view and activities that they might complete.
If you are a parent, you can support the continuation of your child’s education while they are at home. Review the resources for your child’s year and subjects and select links to materials and activities. Create regular class times in your home and tell your child what you expect them to show you the work that they have done in their “class”. You can support your child’s learning while they are at home due to the virus.
If you are an older student, this library can help you continue your learning by yourself while you are at home due to the virus. Explore the resources for the subjects you are studying, read and view the information provided and, where possible, work on the assignments that are often available. This will help you maintain your education during this difficult time and be better prepared to help Pakistan recover when the crisis is over.
If you are a teacher, parent or student, anywhere in the world, you are welcome to use the resources. We have one request, please provide us with your feedback on the site. We want to learn from your experience so that it can be improved for others who may use it in the future. Once you have used the site please go to the Feedback page and let us know what you think.
The resources on this site are categorized by year, subject and unit. It is designed to allow teachers to easily access resources for the lessons that they are preparing for their classes. The links were all active and working when they were loaded onto the site but if you find any that are not working please let us know in the Feedback page.
This site has been developed by Pakistan’s Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi and students from Canada’s University of Waterloo and we will be continuing to work on the site in the future as part of our valuable relationship. You can learn more in the About Us section of the site.
